Hosted by Mo Rocca, "CBS Sunday Morning" reporter and panelist on NPR's "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me", and featuring Bianca Bosker, wine expert and author of the New York Times best-seller Cork Dork; Kevin Bleyer, writer for The Daily Show and speech writer for President Barack Obama and Mayor Bill de Blasio; plus, The New Yorker's Patricia Marx will launch the In Your Face-New York novella, and Dr. Josh Bazell will offer up another "Sorry You Asked." Featuring a sketch by Elissa Zuritsky and Julie Rottenberg, writers for Sex and the City, Divorce and Odd Mom Out. In Your Face–New York captures the spirit, the energy, the music, noise and creativity of this capital of the world. The show comes to Merkin Concert Hall after sell-out performances at St. Ann’s Warehouse and Symphony Space. It’s a live performance extravaganza and also a video/audio podcast that’s features the best of New York’s actors, writers, musicians and more. Previous episodes have featured Sarah Jones, Bob Balaban, New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast and WNYC’s Brian Lehrer. Music is led by jazz legend Jay Leonhart and the 1-Train Band. $20 student tickets are available in person with ID.
