Free Lunchtime Concert Series Returns August 7th – September 25th
The Lincoln Square BID's Free Lunchtime Concert Series is back for a sixth season! With sponsor support from TD Bank, Wednesday afternoons in August and September will sizzle with free music and fun in Richard Tucker Park. The BID is bringing Lincoln Square a slate of exciting and dynamic musicians from the City’s underground through a partnership with the MTA's Arts for Transit program, Music Under New York.
Yogaworks will be giving free restorative stretch sessions that in between music sets, perfect for people looking for some lunch time relaxation. Additionally, local restaurants will offer free lemonade to help yoga enthusiasts and music lovers cool down.
This year’s concerts kick-off on August 7th from noon until 2:00pm with Yaz Band and the John Colianni Jazz Combo. The remaining concerts will follow every Wednesday, Noon - 2:00pm through September 25th.

The 2013 Free Lunchtime Concert Series at Richard Tucker Park is presented by the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District in partnership with the MTA Arts for Transit's Music Under New York Program with exclusive sponsorship support from TD Bank - America's Most Convenient Bank. Through these live performances at Richard Tucker Park, we celebrate New York City's diversity of music and cultures and remember the great opera star, tenor Richard Tucker (1913-1975), who worked as a cantor before joining the Metropolitan Opera for a long and distinguished thirty year career.
