Grab your sweetheart, because businesses, organizations, and restaurants here in Lincoln Square are ready to help you spread the love this Valentine's Day.

To surprise your valentine with a loving present, stop into one of Lincoln Square's many retail destinations offering special treats and gifts.  The American Folk Art Museum Shop has a delightful selection of unique and artistic Valentine's Day gifts to show your sweetheart you care. From pillows with love-centric messages to a creative bouquet of felt flowers, your Valentine will feel the love with a handmade present from this wonderful little shop at 2 Lincoln Square.

Inside of The Shops at Columbus CircleMonica Rich Kosann, a kiosk on the ground floor, can help you celebrate Valentine's Day with its Poesy Ring Necklace collection, a charming way to say "I love you". These ring pendants are inscribed with little love-filled quips such as "I love you more" or "My Heart". You can also customize your own 18K or Sterling Silver Poesy. 

Swarovski, also on the ground floor, has a special Valentine's Day Collection of crystal pendants and bracelet sets, modern tokens of stylish love. Plus, from Wednesday, February 8 through Tuesday, February 14, Swarovski is offering a special gift with purchase to commemorate this loving occasion. Guests who spend $200 or more will receive a complimentary, exclusive pair of Crystallized Heart Shaped Earbuds. 
For a sweet Valentine's Day treat, head to La Maison du Chocolat's ground floor kiosk to indulge your sweetheart in the Stolen Moments collection. These boxes of rich chocolates are designed to capture the delights of spending a day in romantic Paris and are perfect for this couple's holiday. 

At Whole Foods Market in the concourse of The Shops, you can choose from a number of bouquet arrangements of fresh and colorful flowers. Each arrangement is sure to please any loved one in a most classic display of affection. Couple the flowers with aforementioned chocolates and voila!

Further up Broadway at the Apple Store, Upper West Side, at 1981 Broadway, you can pick up a rose gold Apple Watch and Apple Watch band as well as a rose gold MacBook or iPhone. Rose gold is a sweet Valentine's Day color for your loved ones, so that every time they use their new gadget they'll be reminded of the occasion!

If you're looking for a Valentine's Day activity, several Lincoln Square spots have something to offer.
At the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts on Thursday, February 16, there will be a special all-woman show to highlight some of the basic positivity that can be drawn from a day rooted in love through poetry, performance, and real-life commentary. The event titled For the Public: Love Letters will take place at the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center's Bruno Walter Auditorium and is free, but registration is required. Click here to register

For a combination "dinner and a show" evening, at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, on the fifth floor of the Shops at Columbus Circle, soulful vocalist Brianna Thomas returns for a seductive Valentine's Day performance at 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 14. During the show, each guest can enjoy a three course dinner included with ticket purchase. Plus, each guest will be offered a glass of red or white wine with their first course. Also offered by Jazz at Lincoln Center on February 14, New York City Opera will play a romantic evening of song in the beautiful Appel Room. Beginning at 7:00pm, the performance allows a wonderful evening of great music with enough time beforehand to enjoy a delicious local meal. Tickets for the performance start at $25. 

If you're looking for a romantic dinner for two, look no further than Lincoln Square's spectacular eateries. Rosa Mexicano at 61 Columbus Avenue has a Dia de San Valentin menu for the evening of Tuesday, February 14. Options include filet mignon and chorizo sausage skewers, roasted stuffed poblano chile peppers, grilled salmon and more. And, for dessert, you can share a special flourless Mexican chocolate truffle cake with raspberry-guajillo sauce. 

Bar Boulud at 1900 Broadway is offering two chances to enjoy a delicious gourmet french-inspired dinner with your sweetie: a Valentine's Day Pre Theater Prix-Fixe and a Valentine's Day Dinner Prix-Fixe. The former is for anyone with performance or theater tickets for that same evening, with the three course menu offered from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at $65 per person. Afterwards, from 7:00pm to 11:00pm, the Prix-Fixe dinner menu offers three courses for $85 per person. Both menus offer the same delicious options, including main course dishes like duck breast a l'orange or bacon-wrapped venison tenderloin. 

Boulud Sud at 20 West 64th Street is also offering a chance to enjoy exquisite cuisine with your sweetheart. Before an evening performance at Lincoln Center or elsewhere in the neighborhood, enjoy a Valentine's Day Pre Theater Prix-Fixe menu from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. The menu offers a three course dinner at $85 per person. If you're interested in later dinner for two, the restaurant also has a Valentine's Day Dinner menu from 7:00pm to 11:00pm offering a four course meal at $125 per person. Choose from main course dishes like "surf and turf" or pancetta-wrapped quail and enjoy Mediterranean flavors.

And of course, you can pick up a number of delicious sweets from our district bakeries, such as Epicerie BouludBouchon Bakery, and Breads Bakery.
