Open Rehearsals begin at 9:45am (except where noted) in David Geffen Hall, and end at approximately 12:30pm (sometimes extending to 1pm, at the discretion of the conductor). An Open Rehearsal is a fascinating opportunity to watch the New York Philharmonic at work, and see how a piece of music is shaped and polished by the conductor and the musicians. All Open Rehearsals are "working" rehearsals and therefore the program may not be played in its entirety. Additionally, we cannot guarantee the appearance of any solist at an Open Rehearsal. Tickets are $20 each and can be ordered online, by phone, by mail, by fax, or in person at the David Geffen Hall Box Office. Please note there is a $3.00 per ticket handling fee for all online and phone orders.
