Meet Charmaine White, Lincoln Square’s New Director of Marketing and Engagement

Charmaine White joins the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District as Director of Marketing and Engagement, bringing more than a decade of experience in strategic communications, brand development, and community storytelling.

Charmaine has spent her career leading high-impact initiatives across the nonprofit and government sectors, combining a strong background in public policy and stakeholder engagement with a talent for building digital infrastructures and directing public affairs campaigns. Her professional history includes overseeing brand development, managing cross-sector communications, and directing community engagement initiatives for organizations such as the United Way of Westchester and Putnam, The Nature Conservancy, and Fulton County Government.

In her new role, Charmaine will lead Lincoln Square BID’s integrated marketing, branding, and community engagement efforts. She brings a deep commitment to building a true sense of neighborhood identity rather than just visibility. By helping Lincoln Square tell its unique story, she aims to deepen community connections, drive local vitality, and reflect the world-class destination it’s known to be.

Charmaine holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Spelman College. She is a Wisconsin native and a doting cat-mom.
