The Lincoln Square District Management Association, Inc. dba Lincoln Square Business Improvement District and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“LSBID,” “us,” “our” or “we”) are committed to protecting your privacy. We have created this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to explain what information we collect about you and what we do with it. The Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Website. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given in our Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy is part of, and incorporated into, the Terms of Use.
This Privacy Policy describes the Personal Information (as defined below) we collect about you through the Services, why we collect it, how we use it, and when we share it with third parties. This Privacy Policy also describes the choices you can make about how we collect and use that information. The Personal Information provided by you is not used for any purpose other than as described in this Privacy Policy.

What Personal Information We Collect
We collect both “Personal Information” and “Anonymous Information” about our users. We also collect Anonymous Information such as IP addresses, browser types and anonymous demographic information (such as ZIP codes).
You can visit and access certain portions of our Website without providing Personal Information. However, in order to use certain features of our Website, such as subscribing to our electronic newsletter or other electronic mailings, participating in our programs and promotions and participating in any other offerings that we may provide, you must provide us with Personal Information such as your name, email address, street address and telephone number. We generally collect this information when you sign up to receive services from us, participate in certain aspects of our Website and take optional online surveys.

Payment of Donations & Processing Information. Only some donation processing information is collected by us, for example, your name, e-mail address and the amount of the donation. We may use third parties for processing donations such as PayPal or Venmo. Please review the terms of use and privacy practices of the third-party service providers we use for donation payments, prior to providing Personal Information to them. If you provide a donation through a debit or credit card, we do not store this information.
Hardware; Browser; IP Address. We may collect information from your use of the Website including your hardware model, browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address and domain name, through the use of Cookies, web beacons or other technologies This information may include the following: your browser and mobile device type, operating system and name of your Internet service provider; web pages you visit on the Website; IP address, browser type, profile information, geo-location information; information about your interactions with e-mail messages, such as whether the messages were opened and the links clicked in those e-mails; and standard server log information. If you are using a mobile device, we may also receive your UDID, or another unique identifier, and mobile operating system.
Geolocation. If you access the Website through a desktop or mobile device, we will collect, monitor and/or remotely store geo-location data.

We use third-party services, such as Google Analytics, to track and analyze online behavior of our Users. We do this to better understand how you use the Website, with a view to offering improvements for all Users, and to tailor our business and marketing activities accordingly.
When you interact with us through social media networks, such as when you follow us, share content or contact us through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, or other sites, we may receive information about you, including your profile information, picture, user ID associated with the social media account, friends list, and any other information you permit the social media network to share with third parties. LSBID has selected Service Providers that maintain high standards with respect to privacy and agree to use the Personal Information only to perform specific services on behalf of LSBID and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.
Aggregated Anonymous Information
Aggregated Anonymous Information is the combination of your Anonymous Information with the Anonymous Information of other users (“Aggregated Anonymous Information”). Aggregated Anonymous Information does not allow you to be identified or contacted. We may share such Aggregated Anonymous Information with third parties, and, depending on the circumstances, we may charge third parties for such information, or limit the third parties’ use of the same.
Compliance with Laws, Law Enforcement and Safety
We may disclose information we have collected about you if required to do so by law or if we, in our sole discretion, believe that disclosure is reasonable to comply with the law, requests or orders from law enforcement, or any legal process (whether or not such disclosure is required by applicable law), or to protect or defend LSBID’s, or a third party’s, rights or property. We may also reserve the right to disclose information we’ve collected about you for purposes of protecting the health and safety of others.
Third Party Materials
As a service to you, our Website may contain advertisements, third party content and links to other third party websites (collectively, “Third Party Materials”). We do not investigate or monitor Third Party Materials, and therefore are not liable or responsible for the same. By clicking on an advertisement or other link, you may be redirected from our Website to third party websites. Opting Out

For instance, we may retain your Personal Information for fraud detection or similar purposes. Be advised that when we delete any Personal Information, it will be deleted from our active database, but may remain in our archives. Note that if we have already disclosed some of your Personal Information to third parties, we cannot access that Personal Information any longer and therefore cannot compel the deletion or modification of any such information by the parties to whom we have made those disclosures. Children
In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from individuals under 13 years of age and no one under age 13 may provide any Personal Information to LSBID. If we later obtain actual knowledge that a user is under 13 years of age, we will take steps to remove that user’s Personal Information from our systems. 7. Notice to Residents of California and Other U.S. States

8. California “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83)
Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents have the right to request in writing from businesses with whom they have an established business relationship: (i) a list of the categories of Personal Information, such as name, address, e-mail address, and the type of services provided to that customer, that a business has disclosed to third parties (including affiliates that are separate legal entities) during the immediately preceding calendar year for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes, and (ii) the names and addresses of all such third parties.
