As a public-private partnership, the BID acts as advocate, liaison, promoter, and problem solver for the community and provides a critical link between New York City government and the neighborhood. We work closely with the NYC Department of Small Business Services and the Mayor’s office as well as other city officials and agencies, as we strive to improve the quality of life in Lincoln Square.

The New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS)

The New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS) serves as a single point of access for all questions that local businesses have when it comes to interacting with government. The agency can help businesses obtain permits and licensing, access financing and incentives, hire and train your workforce, and more. The agency also runs several Business Solution Centers, which offer free business counseling and classes to small business owners in all five boroughs. The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization of businesses, including sole proprietors, startups, neighborhood stores and large companies.
