Attend the 20th Precinct Build the Block 8.12.21
Aug 10, 2021Do you have public safety concerns about the neighborhood? Do you want an update on current crime and traffic enforcement trends in the area, or hear about best practices on how to keep you and the Lincoln Square community safe? Join the NYPD 20th Precinct for their upcoming virtual Sector A Build the Block meeting on Thursday, August 12 at 5:30pm. Build the Block meetings are held quarterly and are part of the NYPD’s Neighborhood Policing strategy, designed to improve communication between the NYPD and community residents. Click here to learn more on Neighborhood Policing.
Sector A encompasses the area from West 59th Street to West 70th Street, between Central Park West and the Hudson River. This upcoming Build the Block is a great way to connect with the Neighborhood Coordination Officers (NCOs) responsible for Sector A, Rawdi Ali and Yelena Ast, to make sure your concerns are heard and your questions are answered. As an official Community Partner of the 20th Precinct’s Neighborhood Policing program, the Lincoln Square BID maintains ongoing communication with our NCOs, and we regularly attend the Build the Block meetings, which we find very helpful and informative. This Thursday’s meeting is being held via Zoom, so attendance has never been easier!
To attend and receive the Zoom link for the upcoming Build the Block meeting, please email the NCOs for Sector A at rawdi.ali@nypd.org or yelena.ast@nypd.org.
