Businesses Re-Opened This Week in Lincoln Square

We are pleased to announce, in an encouraging sign, that more essential businesses have re-opened in Lincoln Square this week! Our neighborhood remains strong and the gradual re-opening of businesses is a hopeful sign. It is like dipping your toes in an icy ocean--once you test it, with local support, you will jump in! Seven businesses have re-opened joining the many others that are continuing to serve our community.

Excellent Cleaners

For those of you who don’t have access to washers and dryers, the opening of Excellent Cleaners, which includes a laundromat, is welcome news. We suspect that many of you have been washing your laundry in the tub to look spiffy for your Zoom meetings! Excellent Cleaners is allowing 4 people inside at a time for self-service cleaning according to signage. They have also resumed drop-off wash and fold services as well. 

Foot Light Shoe Repair

Foot Light Shoe Repair has opened with limited hours. For those of you who have been walking to keep the weight off, or to pick up take-out food, and have worn down your heels, this is the place to go. The store's signage says normal operating hours will resume as of May 9, 2020. 

Francesco's Pizzeria

After closing briefly, Francesco's Pizzeria, a favorite of Upper West Siders and the Lincoln Square BID, has opened for delivery and take-out. Call for orders!

HSBC Bank has re-opened and apparently instituted safety precaution measures, as listed on signage on the entrance doors.
