Hunger Action Month
September is Food Action Month and there are several ways to get involved and learn more about helping food vulnerable New Yorkers.

Specifically in Lincoln Square, The Shops at Columbus Circle is partnering with Food Bank for New York City, a nonprofit organization that provides resources, education and support to 1.5 million New Yorkers in need. On Tuesday, September 25 the Food Bank for New York City will host an Informational and Donation Drive on the ground floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle. Between 1:00pm and 6:00pm, head over and support the Food Bank by donating non-perishable items. During this drive, you can also take some time to learn tools and resources to help Food Bank for New York City's mission in fighting poverty and helping New Yorker's gain access to nutritious food and a better future.

In addition to this, there are also ways you can get involved with City Harvest for Hunger Action Month. Click here to view their events and initiatives this September across NYC.
