Public School Reopening Plans

As the end of summer is near, the reopening of schools is on everyone’s minds.

The NYC Department of Education (DEP) has submitted their District School Reopening Plan to the New York State Education Department. Click here to view the plan. You can also find the plans for individual schools by typing in the name in DEP’s Find a School tool. Once you are on the school page, scroll down to the box called School Reopening Information 2020 to find that school's plan. 

Additionally, the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) released their own School Reopening Plan on Wednesday, August 19. Click here for more information on UFT’s plan.
