As New York City continues to navigate reopening and recovery, equipment for businesses, nonprofits, and organizations is extremely important.

Former owner of Beacon Paint, Steven Stark, has been a long-time staple of the Upper West Side and recently reached out to us with some great resources for businesses and restaurants. He is now working at the Ace Hardware store on Columbus Avenue (610 Columbus Ave) and can obtain PPE, no-touch thermometers, and social-distancing products like Plexiglas shields to help restaurants planning to open for indoor dining and businesses that are now open. Contact Steven at sstark@costellosace.com or (347) 538-4020. Plus, with outdoor dining extended year-round, restaurants may need new equipment to winterize outdoor dining spaces. Costello’s Ace Hardware has several options for electric patio heaters, including hanging, wall mounted, and free standing. Click here for a brief catalog of what's available. Note that heaters are in very high demand!

Also, the Manufacturing and Industrial Innovation Council and local industry partners launched the NYC PPE + Reopening Supplies Marketplace several months ago to help businesses and organizations shop for supplies. The Marketplace provides a one-stop-shop for easy-to-access suppliers of face masks and coverings, cleaning and disinfectant products, and a number of other supplies needed for re-opening. Click here to view the directory of local and national suppliers and manufacturers of non-medical PPE and other reopening supplies for COVID-19 workplace modifications.

Be sure to check in with the NY Forward website and other reopening resources from New York State and New York City government to ensure you have helpful and necessary supplies for operating safely.
