Dear Lincoln Square BID Businesses & Nonprofits:

I hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy during this COVID-19 pandemic.

We have been regularly posting resources and events that we believe may be helpful on our website, www.lincolnsquarebid.org. One noteworthy event that we believe is useful and may be of interest is a Virtual Town Hall on Small Business Relief on Monday, April 13 at 6:30pm. Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer will moderate this virtual Town Hall in partnership with Columbia University, the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS), the NYC Hospitality Alliance and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce on "Small Business Relief during COVID-19." Panelists Andrew Rigie from the NYC Hospitality Alliance, Kaaryn Simmons from the Columbia-Harlem Small Business Development Center, Jessica Walker from the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, and SBS Commissioner Gregg Bishop will be discussing the resources and opportunities available to small businesses to help get through this crisis. Visit here to join the virtual town hall at 6:30pm Monday. You can also submit questions in advance by clicking here. Check out the flyer below for more information:

Our businesses are the backbone of our neighborhood, and we are already thinking ahead to how we can assist you in whatever ways you deem helpful as we move into recovery. As we get closer to that day when the lockdown is lifted, we will reach out to you - our member businesses and organizations - for specific suggestions as to how we can help. In the meantime, we remain committed to connecting you with information and have ramped up our activity on InstagramTwitter, and Facebook. We share and promote as much as we can on social media and our website, but please reach out if you have any particular ideas or requests that you would like us to send out.

Visit our website at www.lincolnsquarebid.org for neighborhood updates. And, as always, please reach out to me at mblum@lincolnsquarebid.org with any questions, comments or concerns that you may have.

We wish you a very happy - and healthy - Passover and Easter!

Sincerely,

Monica Blum, President
Lincoln Square BID
