A Paw-fect New Addition for Pet Parents Opens in Lincoln Square

You can now feed your furry friends (cats included!) fresh food from Just Food For Dogs, located at 2025 Broadway at 70th Street, previously the home to HSBC.

The freshly made meals are cooked on-site daily and can be purchased frozen or shelf-stable. DIY Homemade Kits are also available for purchase so you can make the meals yourself. Nutrition consultants are available on-site to answer any questions you may have and help you pick out the healthiest food for your pet. The current meal options include Lamb & Brown Rice, Venison & Squash, Fish & Sweet Potato, Chicken & White Rice, Turkey & Whole Wheat Macaroni, and Beef & Russet Potato.

The Irvine, California-based company, founded by Shawn Buckley, makes food for pets with the goal of increasing the quality and length of the animals’ lives. You can find food for healthy animals and those with health issues at Just Food For Dogs. All of the food is made with ingredients certified by the USDA for human consumption, with the addition of necessary nutrients to ensure a complete and well-balanced diet. A veterinarian, nutritionist, and pet chef developed the recipes, with some help from dogs and dog lovers too.

Lincoln Square is home to Just Food For Dog’s first free-standing kitchen in New York and fifth in the country. The other locations are in Chicago, Southern California, Seattle, and Northern California. The company also has an open-kitchen inside Petco’s flagship store at Union Square and sells its food in various Petco locations and vets’ offices, as well as ships food.
