Business Spotlight: Westside Restaurant

Lincoln Square is home to many fabulous restaurants and eateries, but there is something especially unique when a neighborhood staple is able to survive and thrive after decades. Westside Restaurant, owned and operated by Gus Benetos, has served all those who live, work, and visit Lincoln Square since 1965. 

Located at 2020 Broadway on West 69th Street, Westside Restaurant encompasses the feeling of a classic New York City diner. Old city photos line the walls while a quintessential countertop showcases baked goods and offers hightop stools for a quick bite. Plus, large windows give guests a great view of Broadway and our Broadway Mall plantings. The cozy restaurant remains family-operated, and many of the customers are Upper West Side locals, making it a true community favorite. 

Westside Restaurant features classic American cuisine, from a wide selection of breakfast omelettes to different salads, sandwiches, and burgers later in the day. The menu offers specials daily and adds holiday dishes on holidays, like Christmas and St. Patrick's Day. 

Westside Restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 7:00am - 12:00am, and Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00am - 1:00am. Stop by Westside Restaurant and support an institution that has been serving Lincoln Square for over 50 years!
