Cafe Aroma Opens in Lincoln Square

Cafe Aroma opened last week in Lincoln Square at 1875 Broadway (at W 62nd Street), and it promises much more than just the invigorating scent of coffee. With seating for twenty people, this Lincoln Square newcomer offers a welcoming new space to meet with friends or colleagues over a drink or meal. Make sure you stop by for breakfast, lunch, or a mid-day (or even nighttime) treat.

Across countries and cultures, there’s something special about starting the day with a cup of coffee, tea, or another beverage. The family-owned business serves freshly brewed organic Colombian coffee, in addition to espresso drinks, nitro and cold brew coffees, hot and iced teas, and hot chocolate. For a sweeter indulgence, try one of the café’s many blended iced coffee drinks or cold brew iced lattes that come in flavors like s’mores bar and peppermint patty. The café also has many healthy options, like fruit and protein smoothies and fresh juices.

For a sit-down breakfast, the café serves classic breakfast options like Belgian waffles, pancakes, and French toast. You can also get bagels with a variety of special cream cheeses and spreads or egg sandwiches and platters. Refreshing options for breakfast, especially given the warmer weather, include acai and pitaya bowls, topped with granola and fresh fruit. For a to-go breakfast or a snack, consider a tasty pastry—we’ve heard that the almond croissant is worth a try, but you can find all sorts of treats, including donuts, cakes, cookies, and muffins. The café also offers a number of hearty sandwiches or wraps, like classic chicken salad sandwiches, tuna melts, and BLTs, just to name a few.

With options from bagels to smoothies, Cafe Aroma is sure to become a neighborhood favorite. While the business hours are still being worked out, the eatery is currently open from 6:30am until 8:00pm Monday through Friday and from 7:00am until 8:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
