Half Marathon This Weekend

The New York Road Runners will host the United Airlines New York City Half Marathon on Sunday, March 16. Runners will begin in Brooklyn and finish in Central Park. Here you will find the course maps and street closure information. Affected streets include Central Park South from Columbus Circle to Grand Army Plaza, Central Park West from 59th St to 72nd St, and West 61st - 64th Street between Broadway and Central Park West.

NYC Solar + Storage Installer Workshop

Sustainable CUNY and Con Edison will be hosting a free, online 2025 NYC Solar + Storage Installer Workshop on Thursday, March 27, from 9:00am-4:00pm. The workshop is for contractors, architects, engineers, electricians, filing representatives, and other stakeholders who specialize in solar energy and/or energy storage systems. The NYC Department of Buildings, FDNY, NYSERDA, NYCHA, and the Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice will present. Request for Proposals for the Renovation, Operation, and Maintenance of Snack Bars at Verdi Square

The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation ("Parks”) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Renovation, Operation, and Maintenance of Snack Bars with Options for Mobile Food Units at three locations, including Verdi Square. Proposals must be submitted no later than Friday, April 4, at 2:00pm. The RFP is available for download on Parks' website. Download the RFP and click on the "Concessions Opportunities at Parks” link. Once you have logged in, click on the "download” link that appears adjacent to the RFP's description.
