DSNY Information Sessions on New Waste Setout Times

If you read our e-blast last week, you know that waste set out times are changing for businesses and residential buildings on Saturday, April 1. If you would like to hear directly from The NYC Department of Sanitation team about the new rules or provide them with your feedback, you can register for one of the online information sessions below:

If you missed our story last week, click here. Businesses and residential buildings have two options for setting out waste beginning on April 1. Businesses can either place waste at the curb 1 hour before closing if using a container with a secure lid or after 8:00pm if putting bags directly on the curb. Residential buildings can either place waste out after 6:00pm in a container of 55 gallons or less with a secure lid or after 8:00pm if putting bags directly on the curb.
