Feb 20, 2019With all of the cultural excitement around Lincoln Square, it's easy to miss out on some of the special free events that happen almost weekly. At the Rubenstein Atrium, located on Broadway between 62nd and 63rd Street with three entrances, you'll uncover so many cultural, musical, and intellectual events completely free and open to the public year-round. The Atrium's signature performance series, Atrium 360°, invites patrons to a free event nearly every Thursday evening at 7:30pm. This ongoing performance series encompasses the best of NYC and a diverse cross section of music, dance, theater, spoken word, and more. Coming up on Thursday, February 21, catch talented jazz singer and songwriter, Vuyo Sotashe, and on February 28 enjoy a performance from multi-media, genre-bending composer and vocalist, Tariq Al-Sabir.
Other Atrium series include: ¡VAYA! 63, a series of popular dance parties fueled by pioneers and torchbearers of New York's Latin music scene; Outside (In)dia, a cutting edge Indian-based concert series; the New York Philharmonic's lecture series Insights at the Atrium; LC Kids' Saturday morning music and story series; and more!
