Greetings From The Big Apple

Greetings From The Big Apple

In case you've missed them, we have brought some very exciting installations to Lincoln Square. The Lincoln Square BID is excited to welcome The Big Apple, a Musical Tree, and Music Box by DIX au carré and urban art designer Felix Marzell to Dante Park.

New York is synonymous with millions of small and magical stories, and this Big Apple is designed to make visitors stop for a much-needed break or share a memorable moment with loved ones and friends. Take a seat and spend some time inside or just snap a pic to send your greetings from The Big Apple!

The Music Box is a self-sustainable installation activated by human energy animating the northern tip of Dante Park. Work your muscles to crank the handle and sing along to some all-time festive classics karaoke-style.

At the southern portion of Dante Park, the musical tree will liven up the holiday season. Take center stage, follow the notes, and play Jingle Bells for all to hear. Fun for all ages!

The Big Apple, Musical Tree, and Music Box will be on display at Dante Park on Broadway and 64th Street through January 2023.
