Join Us on December 3 to Kick Off Magical Lights

Come to Lincoln Square this holiday season to experience Lincoln Square's Magical Lights featuring sensory light and sound shows.

Join the Lincoln Square BID as we turn on the dazzling display and kick off the holiday season on Tuesday, December 3, at 4:30pm. The fun begins with The Department of Spectacle, which will bring classic circus acts with a holiday flair to their favorite neighborhood event of the year! A stilt walker, jugglers, and the delightfully entertaining Princess Schneeflocken will join us in Lincoln Square as we celebrate a heartwarming neighborhood tradition.

Kaufman Music Center's Special Music School Chorus will add to the holiday cheer with a free performance. The concert choir features high school vocal students from Kaufman’s K-12 public school that provides students with an intensive music education program with fully-funded lessons, music classes and ensembles along with academics. The choristers have collaborated with many acclaimed artists including the celebrated British ensemble VOCES8 and composers Caroline Shaw and Lisa Bielawa.

The festivities continue with dancing under the twinkling lights to live music by
the SAINTS of SWING - an extraordinary collective of some of the tri-state area's finest performers. The SAINTS OF SWING, with accomplished vocalists Kati Mac and Jim Mola, specializes in eclectic selections of foot-tapping swing classics. This ultimate party band is big-time fun! And don’t miss a cozy treat—complimentary Mexican hot chocolate from Rosa Mexicano, adding a warm and delicious touch to the holiday magic.

Witness the magic for yourself as sound and light become one with a sensory experience in Dante Park at Broadway and West 64th Street! You can see fantastic photos from last year's Magical Lights Kickoff event on our Flickr.
