Great news! Kaufman Music Center has announced that their program, Musical Storefronts, has been extended through late April.

Musical Storefronts has brought over 100 live performances back to the Upper West Side, featuring some of the city’s finest artists including chamber musicians, soloists, Broadway stars, and artists from the Merkin Hall stage. As the pop-up series continues, artists and programs will be announced at the storefront on the day of the performance to limit crowd size and ensure social distancing. Watch Kaufman Music Center's Executive Director Kate Sheeran on The Kelly Clarkson Show discussing Musical Storefronts and the importance of live music.

Musical Storefronts has been a great success! And, kudos to Breads Bakery, who gives a bag of treats to the artists after every show, as well as local property owner, Milford Management, for offering space to these performances. It’s great to not only have live music back in Lincoln Square, but to also see collaboration between our businesses, organizations and property owners!

Musical Storefronts does pop-up concerts on an almost daily basis, so you never know what you might stumble upon when you take a walk around the neighborhood!
