Oyster Offerings in Lincoln Square

Oysters—despite any adage you may have heard about the best months to eat them—are always in season, no matter the time of year. Oysters are a long-standing favorite among New Yorkers to enjoy as an after work and weekend pastime. Stop into one of several local Lincoln Square eateries serving up oysters, several of which offer outdoor dining.

Épicerie Boulud (1900 Broadway at 64th Street): This French café offers guests wine, beer, and oysters which you can enjoy during weekday happy hour from 4:00pm – 8:00pm or on a weekend afternoon. Enjoy a glass of wine and a dozen or half dozen of an assortment of oysters while also enjoying sunny weather at the café’s outdoor terrace on Broadway. Click here for the menu.

PJ Clarke’s (44 West 63rd Street at Columbus Ave): Enjoy PJ Clarke’s raw bar offerings for lunch or dinner and order east coast oysters by the half dozen or dozen from the menu. Raw bar items come with a choice of sauces, including classic cocktail, ginger lemongrass mignonette, mango habanero relish, and more. Atlantic Grill (50 West 65th Street): A well-known seafood restaurant in the neighborhood, stop in to Atlantic Grill and enjoy the raw bar offerings Tuesday through Sunday. You can order oysters by the half dozen which are a mix of both east and west coast oysters with mignonette sauce. Click here for the menu.

Porter House Bar & Grill (10 Columbus Circle): Porter House’s dinner menu offers East Coast oysters alongside other raw bar offerings. Enjoy some oysters and a beautiful city view from the windows overlooking Columbus Circle. Click here for the dinner menu.

The Smith (1900 Broadway at 63rd Street): The lunch, brunch, and dinner menus at The Smith offer three types of oysters plus a rotating oyster of the day. Enjoy spring weather in Lincoln Square from the outdoor café with views of Broadway and Dante Park nearby. Click here to view the meus.

Nougatine at Jean-Georges (1 Central Park West): Sit on the terrace at Nougatine just across from Central Park and enjoy the spring sun with some east coast oysters. The lunch and dinner menu offers oysters of which you can order six, nine, or a dozen at a time. Click here for the menu.
