Public Safety Officer Job Openings

If you answered yes to these questions, you may be a great candidate to join the Lincoln Square BID Public Safety Team!

The Lincoln Square BID’s mission is to make Lincoln Square cleaner, safer, and more beautiful, and to undertake various improvement projects. Public Safety Officers serve a dual role as ambassadors for Lincoln Square, answering questions and giving directions to members of the public, as well as serving as a uniformed deterrent to crime. And, now more than ever, they serve as the eyes and ears of the NYPD, keeping them informed of everything that is happening in our rapidly changing neighborhood. Public Safety Officers also report on various quality of life issues in the district and sometimes reunite lost property like wallets and phones to their rightful owners! 

We have a contract with Summit Security, the employer of our public safety services. Summit Security recruits, vets, and manages our Public Safety Officers.
