Rosetta, the Italian Bakery, Has its Inaugural Opening

The reviews are in, and the consensus is that you should really give Rosetta, the Italian Bakery, a try. In case you were wondering what the long lines have been for at 64th Street, now you know.

Rosetta Bakery had its soft opening on September 15th and is already receiving praise. The store, located at the corner of Broadway and 64th Street, was previously occupied by Lululemon. The space offers a beautiful and cozy environment for eating indoors, which includes a glass wall that allows people to see into the kitchen and watch the chefs make the items. There is also ample outdoor seating.

Rosetta is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch, and a pre-theater snack. Grab a cappuccino and pastry in the morning and something savory later in the day. Some of the specialties there include focaccia, pizza, sandwiches, beverages, and of course, sweets. Some standouts from the sweets section are the famous Bombolone and the beautiful Fruit Tart, but there are many delicious options to choose from. For those counting calories, there are mini pastries too.

The bakery is both named after a person and a very well-known type of bread in Italy. Most Rosetta locations are in Miami, Florida, where the business is based, and this is the first location in NYC. For anyone contemplating a move to Miami, you no longer need to do so; Miami is now in New York.

Rosetta Bakery is currently open Monday through Sunday from 7:30am to 8:30pm. Visit rosettabakery.com to find out more.

Run, don’t walk to Rosetta! We are so glad to have them in the neighborhood.
