On Monday, May 24, 2021, One Columbus Circle was officially renamed Deutsche Bank Center. Senior leadership from Deutsche Bank Americas and Related Companies unveiled the new marquee yesterday afternoon at the entrance to The Shops at Columbus Circle.  Deutsche Bank is preparing to move its North American Headquarters into the building later this year, making it the home of nearly 5,000 employees occupying over 1 million square feet of office space.

Jeff T. Blau, CEO of Related Companies, said, “One Columbus Circle transformed an entire neighborhood when it opened nearly 20 years ago. Today, the building continues that legacy as it becomes Deutsche Bank Center and another positive catalyst in the continued economic recovery of New York City. The reopening of Deutsche Bank’s North American headquarters and other leading global offices is instrumental in supporting small businesses, restaurants, retailers, tourism, and lifting our entire local economy. We look forward to welcoming them to the neighborhood later this year.” Opened in 2004, the building was developed by Related Companies and designed by David Childs of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Now known as Deutsche Bank Center, the commercial tower remains one of the most connected mixed-use buildings in New York City.

The Lincoln Square BID is pleased to join in officially welcoming Deutsche Bank to Lincoln Square. We already have a strong working relationship with Deutsche Bank and look forward to the arrival of their employees to Lincoln Square as they move into this iconic building, joining The Shops at Columbus Circle, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Mandarin Oriental, New York, and more! Click here to read the press release on Deutsche Bank Center.
