WNET’s New Streaming Channel: PBS Nature

WNET has just launched its second free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel, PBS Nature. PBS Nature joins WNET’s other FAST channel, arts TWG+, extending the reach of WNET’s long-running documentary film series NATURE. It gives viewers without cable TV the opportunity to watch the program on demand through select streaming services and smart TV platforms.

Now, instead of waiting for NATURE to air on channel Thirteen, viewers nationwide can access PBS Nature on Plex, Xumo, LG Channels, Freevee, and THIRTEEN Passport streaming services at any time with a connected mobile device, online video player, or smart TV. Visit https://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/special-feature/watch-pbs-nature/ to find out where else you can stream the channel as additional platforms add it to their lineups.

WNET’s mission is to use the power of media to educate, inform, entertain, and inspire audiences everywhere, and this streaming channel will bring further access to audiences. Our friends at WNET have stated that the integration of PBS Nature onto streaming platforms will “grow the visibility and reach of The WNET Group, bring the NATURE brands to new heights, and expand our content and services to members and new viewers alike.”
