Al Fresco Lunches Great for Graduation

May and June signal graduation celebrations across the City for students of all ages. A celebratory lunch is a terrific way to congratulate your new Grad. In Lincoln Square, you can celebrate at one of our many restaurants that offer outdoor seating areas or Prix-Fixe specials. The Smith, 1900 Broadway (between 63rd & 64th)

The casual American Brasserie with burgers, sandwiches, seafood, and more, has outdoor seating along Broadway with shade awnings and floor to ceiling windows that open for when the cafe is full. 

 

Café Fiorello, 1900 Broadway (between 63rd & 64th)

This longtime neighborhood spot serves thin-crust pizzas and classic Italian mains and has a vine decorated outdoor area along Broadway. Café Fiorello offers a two-course Prix-Fixe lunch for either pasta or fish entrees, both under $30. 

Bar Boulud, 1900 Broadway (between 63rd & 64th)

Enjoy outdoor seating at this modern and casual bistro serving french cuisine. Through Friday, June 28, the restaurant has a Graduation lunch special offering a three-course Prix Fixe menu for $48 per person. This special lunch comes with a complimentary sparkling wine toast for the party and you can order a $45 cake for the table, too. 

Boulud Sud, 20 West 64th Street (Broadway & 64th)  

Grab a table at the outdoor cafe area on Broadway and enjoy Mediterranean flavors for lunch. Through June on Mondays through Fridays, Boulud Sud is offering a Graduation Lunch Prix-Fixe, for which groups of 4 or more can enjoy a special three-course menu at $55 each with complimentary bubbles upon arrival. If you book a reservation in advance, with 48 hours notice, the restaurant can even serve a special cake with gelato for the occasion. 

 

Rosa Mexicano, 61 Columbus Ave (Columbus & 62nd)

With views of the David Koch theater, take a seat at Rosa's sidewalk cafe for Mexican cuisine. During weekdays, you can order the Chef's Lunch, which offers two-courses for $20. 

 

Sole Bistro Italiano, 2014 Broadway (Broadway & 69th) 

Dine outside in Sole's sidewalk seating area with traditional Italian dishes. During lunch hours from Monday through Friday, you can enjoy a set three-course Prix-Fixe lunch for $25. 

Nougatine at Jean-Georges, 1 Central Park West (off of Columbus Circle)

The more casual sister of the adjoining Jean-Georges, Nougatine serves upscale french dishes and offers an outdoor terrace seating area with shade umbrellas. You can get a three-course Prix-Fixe lunch for $44.
