An Introduction to the Tourism Industry with NYC & Co.

NYC & Company, the official destination marketing organization and convention and visitors bureau for the five boroughs of New York City, has resumed its Tourism Ready 101 Program which introduces businesses to the tourism industry on various levels.

Tourism Ready 101 is a free four-session virtual program that will teach you how to grow your tourism business through third-party travel sellers known as the travel trade. As travel continues to open up, the travel trade is looking for unique NYC experiences to offer their clients. Working with these buyers can be a key source of business for your NYC tourism products and services. Session 1: Introduction to Working with the Travel Trade, will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, June 16 at 10:00am. Register here for the program and sessions. The other three sessions are as follows: Session 2: A Deeper Dive into Working with the Travel Trade on Wednesday, June 30; Session 3: Tailoring Your Offerings to Various Visitor Types on Wednesday, July 14; Session 4: Getting Ready Operationally on Thursday, July 29.
