25th Annual Meeting Recap

On Wednesday, May 18 the Lincoln Square BID held its 25th Annual Meeting via Zoom. This was our third (and hopefully last!) virtual Annual Meeting and we were so pleased to see so many Board Members, businesses and not-for-profits, residents, and other partners and friends. Thank you to those who attended! For those who were unable to join us, we were fortunate to hear from Philip Banks – the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety - who spoke about Mayor Adams’ stance on public safety and the importance of reducing crime, gun violence, and addressing the mental health crisis, which are all key to New York City's recovery and future prosperity. Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine and City Councilmember Gale Brewer joined us to say a few words, too. At the meeting, we also elected Directors and Alternates to our Board, and presented our FY 2023 budget and financial statements as well as our FY2022 Annual Report, detailing a year in review of our services. Click here to download a PDF of the FY2022 Annual Report. We welcome our new Directors and Alternates to our Board and thank all stakeholders for their dedication and support over this past year. Click here to view our current list of Board and Directors

The future is bright as the City and Lincoln Square emerge from the pandemic, and the Lincoln Square BID will continue to serve as the promoters, supporters, and stewards of the neighborhood. In light of the changes coming to the district, we have engaged the services of HR&A Advisors to conduct a Strategic Plan for the BID. The plan will lay out a path for the BID over the next 10 years or so. We are looking forward to next steps for the organization and the neighborhood and appreciate all of the support our local property owners, businesses, organizations, and residents have offered us.

Please be sure to visit our website, www.lincolnsquarebid.org, often for the latest information on our programs and services, and our neighborhood. Again our thanks and we look forward to seeing you in Lincoln Square!
