Lauren Redniss joins New York City Ballet for the 2020 edition of Art Series, which welcomes contemporary artists to the David H. Koch Theater on Lincoln Center's Campus.

Lauren Redniss, an artist and author of several works of visual non-fiction, will create a signature installation for the NYCB's acclaimed eighth annual Art Series. For the installation, she will create a 360-degree panorama of portraits depicting the many faces of those who work at New York City Ballet. This panoramic piece will celebrate behind-the-scenes efforts, exposing the important backbone of this world renowned performing arts company.

Redniss wants visitors to be surrounded by faces, color, and light. She says, "By looking into the eyes of each person and reading their words, I hope visitors' experience of coming to the theater will gain a new dimension."

The installations will be on view at three special New York City Ballet Art Series performances on Saturday, February 1, Friday, February 7, and Thursday, February 27, for which all tickets are priced at $35. Find out more at nycballet.com/artseries.
