Beloved Friend - Tchaikovsky and His World at the NY Philharmonic

Starting on Tuesday, January 24 you can take a deep dive i nto the "heart-on-sleeve music" of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky  and composers close to him with conductor Semyon Bychkov during  Beloved Friend - Tchaikovsky and His World.  Bychkov is a  passionate Tchaikovsky champion who knows the great Russian Romantic's music, life, and loves inside and out.  

The festival highlights include Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony,Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, and Tchaikovsky's Pathétique. Plus, you can join conductor Semyon Bychkov for a free talk at the David Rubenstein Atrium on Wednesday, January 25.
