Bluebird London: Opening Soon!

This September, D&D London will expand its restaurant collection to the U.S. with the opening of Bluebird London on the third floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle! Bluebird London is a celebration of Modern British dining, pairing traditional dishes with diverse flavors to create an international brasserie reflective of its two transatlantic homes. 

The new spot will be headed by Executive Chef Nicolas Houlbert, previously of Bar Boulud and Epicerie Boulud (two of Lincoln Square's other outstanding eateries), keeping close to neighborhood roots. Bluebird London's menu will feature contemporary renditions of classic dishes like Cornish Chicken Pie, Beef Wellington, and Fish & Chips, using British imports and regional ingredients. The menu will also have plates to share, veggie-forward dishes, and brunch (with live DJs). The bar program will showcase an expansive collection of gin, both British and domestic, as well as local and UK-based brewers, distillers, and winemakers. Bluebird London will also serve a traditional afternoon tea.

Designed by CetraRuddy, the space will capitalize on its panoramic views of Central Park and Columbus Circle, transitioning from a front-facing, all-day café, into a modern cocktail lounge, slightly sunken main dining room and an eighteen seat private dining room.
