There's more than just food to be had at some of Lincoln Square's well-known eateries--there's also a lot of fun to experience! In the coming weeks, there are three special events taking place that include unique experiences along with delicious food and drink. 
 
At Bluebird London, on the third floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle, join award-winning young adult and children's author Rachel Vail for Tea and Tales, a family friendly event on Sunday, August 25 at 3:00pm. Guests will enjoy a tiny tea and one-on-one time with the author as she discusses writing and answers questions. Tickets are $30. Click here for more details. Rosa Mexicano is celebrating its 35th anniversary this September. From Wednesday, September 11 to Sunday, September 22, a special anniversary menu will be available at the local Lincoln Square location (61 Columbus Avenue at 62nd Street). The menu offers two courses for $19.84. Contact the restaurant for more details. Also at this location, Tablones is back on the menu for dinner. This guajillo-marinated beef short rib dish is slow-braised and served with mestiza, a true Rosa Mexicano classic. Make a reservation today. 
 
Class is in session at Bar Boulud at 1900 Broadway this September. Beginning on Saturday, September 7 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm, join Chef Sommelier Ian Smedley for a wine class in partnership with Crush Wine & Spirits. Every Saturday, Ian will select a theme and host a guided tasting, walking you through various regions and wine styles. Enjoy light bites as you sip on 3-4 different wines in Bar Boulud's Sommelier Room. For this September 7 event, the class will be exploring 'Summer Rosés', featuring Boulay Sancerre Rose 2018, Terrassen Finger Lakes Rose 2018, and Chateau Pradeaux Cotes de Provence Rose 2018.
