The Jewish New Year will begin sundown on Sunday, September 29 and end Tuesday, October 1 this year while Yom Kippur will fall on Wednesday, October 9. Thanks to some Lincoln Square staples, you can plan a celebration for these special holidays without sweating the menu for your guests.

Order a festive centerpiece Challah adorned with ceramic bowls and grab a delicious apple or chocolate Babka for dessert. Bouchon Bakery and Café inside The Shops at Columbus Circle on the third floor, is offering two special items to the menu through September 29 for Rosh Hashanah. Order online, in store, or via phone at (212) 823-9357 and enjoy Bouchon's dark-ambered Honey Bundt Cake for a sweet start to the new year. Or, order a tasty Challah Loaf for your table. 

You can also pick up ingredients to be your own chef for these holidays at local grocery store Gourmet Garage at 155 West 66th Street or at Whole Foods Market inside The Shops at Columbus Circle. Gourmet Garage is a specialty/natural food market while you can also find many organic products at Whole Foods. Making your own menu is easy in Lincoln Square.
