Celebrate 60 Years of Lincoln Center with a Free Block Party
This May, celebrate six decades of world-class performing arts culture in honor of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts' dedicated history. Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the premier institution will host a free Block Party open to the public full of activities and performances.

On Saturday, May 4 from 10:00am to 2:30pm the Block Party will take place across the iconic campus both indoors and outdoors featuring live music, dance presentations, art-making and craft stations, film screenings, tours, and more. Bringing together the talents of all 11 of its constituent organizations, patrons can enjoy events for all ages at the Block Party, including: free tickets to sit in on a class of the School of American Ballet; show tunes from Lincoln Center Theater's My Fair Lady and music from Jazz at Lincoln Center artist Melanie Charles; an interactive concert with the New York Philharmonic; and many more exciting activities! Click here to see a full schedule of Block Party events. The festivities will begin with a special Welcoming Event featuring dancers from the Redhawk Native American Council.

This event also coincides with the arrival of Lincoln Center's new President and CEO, Henry Timms, on Monday, May 6. Henry Timms will be a guest speaker at our 22nd Annual Meeting later in the month on Tuesday, May 21. Click here for more info and to RSVP to our Annual Meeting
