Celebrate the 2019 Lunar New Year

2019 marks the year of the Pig! This year, the holiday will take place on Tuesday, February 5 and there are several ways to celebrate the occasion in Lincoln Square.

For entertainment, the New York Philharmonic's annual Lunar New Year celebration returns with a concert titled Fire Ritual on Wednesday, February 6 at 7:30pm. This fiery program will feature a new violin concerto by Oscar winner Tan Dun; Stravinsky's beloved The Firebird Suite; Mozart's The Magic Flute; and more. Click here for ticket information. 

Inside of The Shops at Columbus Circle, ring in the year of the Pig with the New York Chinese Cultural Center on Saturday, February 2 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm with special programming on the second floor.
