Chamber Music Society's Winter Festival: Milestones

Chamber Music Society is currently showcasing their Winter Festival: Milestones now through Tuesday, March 29. This year’s Winter Festival features works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Gershwin and more.

This week, Check out Beethoven’s Piano Trio, Op. 1, No. 1, which is considered a true milestone in the chamber literature, on Friday, February 25 at 7:30pm. Other milestone performances to look forward to over the next month are Mendelssohn’s Octet on Sunday, March 6 and Tuesday, March 8; Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G Minor on Tuesday, March 15; Schoenberg’s Transfigured Night on Friday, March 18; and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue on Sunday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 29.
