NYPD Community Council Meeting on Thursday, April 28

The next NYPD 20th Precinct Community Council Meeting is Thursday, April 28 at 7:00pm, in the station house (120 West 82nd Street).

Multi-Block Street Fair on Sunday, May 1

A multi-block street fair will take place on Sunday, May 1 from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Columbus Avenue between West 66th Street and West 72nd Street. The fair is sponsored by Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center and the street area will be closed to vehicular traffic for the duration of the event. Set-up may begin as early as 8:00am and breakdown may end as late as 8:00pm.

Situational Awareness Tips from NYPD Shield

The NYPD has put together a situational awareness bulletin on personal safety. Summer Youth Employment

NYC's Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) helps connect NYC youth ages 14-24 with career exploration opportunities for up to six weeks in July and August. The program is funded by DYCD, so businesses and organizations can host SYEP participants at no-cost. Notice for Not-for-profit Employees with Student Loan Debt

Celebrate Japan Day on The Upper West Side

The Japan Parade will take place on Saturday, May 14 beginning at 1:00pm. The parade will start on Central Park West and 81st Street and head south ending at 68th Street on Central Park West. There will also be a Japan Day street fair on 69th Street between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West until 4:30pm.
