AAPI Month: Stop Asian Hate Toolkit

May is Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, and the City has put together a Stop Asian Hate social media toolkit to promote different campaigns, including the "I Still Believe in Our City" campaign. Access the toolkit here.

Extreme Heat Preparedness Training Series

Propane Heaters Must Be Disconnected by End of May

Monday, May 31 is the end of New York City’s “heat season,” the period between early October and late May when residential buildings are required to be maintained at a certain temperature. While Open Restaurants are not required to provide heat, in keeping with the end of heat season, all propane heating devices must be disconnected and properly stored beginning Monday, May 31. Electric or natural gas heaters may remain in place.
