Get Vaccinated Today!

New York City's COVID-19 positivity rate has increased to over 2%, and cases are continuing to increase especially among unvaccinated individuals. Anyone 12 years and older can get a COVID-19 vaccine for free. Click here to find a vaccine site near you.

Revised CDC Guidance on Masks for Vaccinated People

The CDC has revised its COVID-19 guidance to say that people vaccinated against COVID-19 should resume wearing masks in public indoor spaces in areas where the virus is surging. CDC officials also recommended that while K-12 schools should return to in-person learning in the fall, there should be universal masking for teachers, staff, students and visitors, regardless of vaccination status and community transmission of the virus. Learn more here.

NYC to Require All City Workers to Be Vaccinated or Tested Weekly

Mayor de Blasio has announced that NYC's roughly 340,000 municipal workers must be be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Monday, September 13 or they will face weekly testing.

Conservation of Dante Starting 8.2.21

We have been notified by the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation that restoration work on the statue of Dante in Dante Park's interior (at 63rd Street between Broadway and Columbus Avenue) will take place for the first two weeks of August beginning Monday, August 2. More information to come, but expect construction activity in Dante Park next week. 

New York City Musical and Theatrical Production Tax Credit

Governor Cuomo has announced the launch of a new $100 million NYC Musical and Theatrical Production Tax Credit designed to help revitalize the cultural community. The Tax Credit is a two-year program that will offset some of the costs associated with producing a show, such as costs for sets, costumes, technical support, salaries, sound, lighting, and more. Click here for more information.
