Con Edison Work at 64th Street

Con Edison has continued to have a major construction presence in Lincoln Square over the past six weeks in response to emergency repair work at 64th Street and Broadway. As of this week, Con Edison has begun excavating on the east side of Broadway and at the 64th Street crossing relating to the emergency repairs (pictured). The work will reach the extended tip of Dante Park. In response to this construction, we have relocated several tables, chairs, umbrellas, and planters from the area. Residents, workers, and visitors should anticipate pedestrian and vehicular traffic due to the construction.
