Conscious Fashion at The Shops at Columbus Circle

As part of The Shops at Columbus Circle's four month wellness series, September's theme will focus on conscious fashion, promoting mindfulness in the fashion industry. Between Wednesday, September 12 and Sunday, September 30, the second floor will host an exhibit showcase curated by Pratt Institute and Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator (BF+DA). The showcase, titled Wear the Future Here - Conscious Fashion for a Better Life, will tell the stories of apparel brands at the BF+DA, each of which has a unique story and business model that promotes sustainability and ethical practices in the industry.

In conjunction with this month's theme, several stores in The Shops are focusing on mindful fashion through September 30, too:

  • Receive $20 off a new pair of jeans when you return a gently used pair at J. Crew.
  • Receive a gift with purchase when you shop The Better Cotton Initiative line at Ted Baker
  • Receive 15% off your purchase when you bring in a bag of unwanted clothing (any brand) at H&M.
  • 20% of the store proceeds from the month of September will go to the SatyaFoundation to directly benefit the children of Ramana's Garden and Manjushree Orphanage in India.
  • Shop the Luxe Merino Stretch line made from responsible wool at Eileen Fisher. Plus, enjoy $30 off your purchase when you spend $50 or more, September 6-15.
  • And, at Hugo Boss you can shop for the Pinatex Sneaker, the newly released vegan tennis-inspired shoe.
