Crane Installation at 1865 Broadway

According to a work notice from Lend Lease, on Saturday May 6, and Sunday May 7, 2017, the Department of Buildings (DOB) has authorized the field personnel at the 1865 Broadway project site to erect a site crane.  The crane will be erected on West 61^st Street between Broadway and Columbus Avenue using an assist crane.  The DOB permit hours are from 5:00am Saturday to 9:00pm Sunday, or until the work is complete.

The projects has also been issued permits by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to close 61^st Street to vehicular traffic from Saturday 5:00am until Sunday 9:00pm.  The sidewalk on the north side of 61^st Street will also be closed to pedestrian traffic. The south side sidewalk will be open.
