Danny Glover & Louverture Films Series at FLC

To celebrate actor, producer, political activist and UN Goodwill Ambassador Danny Glover's contribution to cinema, Film at Lincoln Center is bringing a special series, Danny Glover and Louverture Films, to its theaters over the next week and is giving the Lincoln Square community an opportunity to see a screening at a discounted rate.

If you have never experienced a Danny Glover film, now is a fantastic opportunity to see one on the big screen. Whether teaming up with key Hollywood directors or starring in one of the great American independent films of the 1990s (Charles Burnett’s To Sleep with Anger), Glover has captivated and enthralled audiences for decades. Check out his acting in films such as Beloved, The Color Purple and more. Additionally, get tickets for a number of film screenings from Louverture, an independnt film production company co-founded by Danny Glover and Joslyn Barnes. Two screenings even feature a Q&A with Danny Glover himself: Bamako on Wednesday, December 1 and To Sleep with Anger on Thursday, December 2.
