Day of Musical Action

As part of Kaufman Music Center's (KMC) Music Lives Forever campaign, KMC will hold a Day of Musical Action on Monday, June 1, 2020 beginning at 4:00pm, giving community members the opportunity to use music to make a difference.

The Day of Musical Action will be a special day of online musical content created by members of KMC's community who have been fundraising in support of music education and performance programs. This initiative provides students, parents, faculty, staff, and donors with the opportunity to raise funds to support the KMC's  programs and honor and foster a sense of community engagement during these difficult times. The event will also feature performances from several celebrity guests, including Emanuel Ax, Joshua Bell, Broadway stars Nikki Renée Daniels and Jeff Kready, Sir James Galway, Terrance McKnight, Caroline Shaw, and more! It is scheduled to take place from 4:00pm - 8:00pm, with the VIP performances starting at 6:00pm. There's sure to be a ton of wonderful content!
