Day of the Dead at Rosa Mexicano
Oct 17, 2018At Rosa Mexicano, a warm and vibrant spot for authentic Mexican cuisine, you can celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a well-known Mexican holiday which inspires prayer and posthumous commemoration for loved ones.
Between Wednesday, October 31 and Friday, November 2, you can enjoy a special three-course dinner meal in honor of Día de los Muertos and of the favorite dishes and spirited drinks of the restaurant's founder, Josefina Howard. The menu features mouthwatering choices, such as corn and sesame empanadas, whole grilled trout over pumpkin seed pipián, and roasted pumpkin and caejta tamale. Rosa Mexicano is also offering a specially crafted cocktail for the occasion called "Calavera". Rosa Mexicano is located at 61 Columbus Avenue, between 62nd and 63rd Streets.
