Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a well-known Mexican holiday, is recognized as a period of time to welcome the souls of loved ones passed back to visit with the living. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to remember their deceased friends and family members. At Rosa Mexicano, a vibrant spot for authentic Mexican meals in Lincoln Square, you can celebrate this traditional holiday with a special meal and menu.

Between Thursday, October 31 and Sunday, November 3, you can enjoy a special three-course dinner meal in honor of Día de los Muertos. The menu also consists of favorite dishes and spirited drinks of the restaurant's founder, Josefina Howard. Enjoy dishes including corn and sesame empanadas, tequila-pomegranate BBQ ribs, and more. You can choose between two tequila-based specially crafted cocktails for the occasion. Click here to view the menu. Also, as part of the posthumous celebration, at the entrance of the restaurant you will find an ofrenda - or alter - that is assembled as part of the holiday tradition. Rosa Mexicano encourages guests to participate in the tradition by bringing a photo of your passed loved one and sharing it on social media with the tag #RMOFRENDA.

Rosa Mexicano is located at 61 Columbus Avenue, between 62nd and 63rd Streets.
