On Thursday, July 25 beginning at 7:00pm, join music lovers and friends in Damrosch Park for a special Lincoln Center Out of Doors event! Named for the patron saint of music, effervescent Latin fusion band La Santa Cecilia will perform on stage for a free concert. The Grammy-winning band's music integrates cumbia, bossa nova, rumba, bolero, tango, jazz, rock, klezmer, and even more, reflecting Los Angeles's intriguing tapestry of cultures.

Following the performance there will be a special screening of Disney/Pixar's Coco in Spanish with English subtitles. Called "a definitive movie for this moment" by The New Yorker and inspired by el Día de los Muertos, this tale of family, fun, and adventure centers on a young musician named Miguel who is accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead. While on this extraordinary journey, he seeks the help of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather to return him to his family among the living and to reverse his family's ban on music.

This is a terrific family event celebrating the connections between Latin cultures and music. Plus, before La Santa Cecilia performs, catch the vivid vocals and driving rhythms of Mariachi Real De Mexico on Josie Robertson Plaza from 6:30pm - 7:00pm. Mariachi Real de Mexico is even a Winter's Eve alum!
