Dizzy Gillespie Festival at Jazz at Lincoln Center

This month, Jazz at Lincoln Center is celebrating the centennial of Dizzy Gillespie, the visionary architect of bebop, from Thursday, January 26 through Sunday, January 29.  In each of Jazz's  venues (The Appel Room, Rose Theater, and the aptly named Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola), you can hear diverse interpretations of Gillespie's music performed by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Carlos Henriquez, Pedrito Martinez, Terell Stafford, Melissa Aldana and more.

Arrive early, beginning at 6:00pm, on Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28 to enjoy free live music and tastings by Jazz at Lincoln Center partners in the Ertegun Atrium.
